I hope they took notice of where we could improve, & take it into the Korea game.

I wonder if the China vs Korea game ended 0-0 because of great defence, or poor strikers. Lets hope it's the latter.Douglashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00458045585490431568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773417981140725746.post-9151379405150612192010-05-20T03:22:40.577+10:002010-05-20T03:22:40.577+10:00Good point Ann. Good news for the girls there. Not only because we have 3points and they both have 1, but simply for the fact that neither team could score.Merryn Sherwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03834737251644667206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773417981140725746.post-2991480102179831562010-05-20T01:57:11.244+10:002010-05-20T01:57:11.244+10:00No and thats because it wasnt our first XINo and thats because it wasnt our first XITheWomensGamehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12379609705068022680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6773417981140725746.post-57904841428623960902010-05-19T19:05:13.914+10:002010-05-19T19:05:13.914+10:00Well we got the win. Kyah Simon played well, Teigen Allen & Sam Kerr gave us a bit of spark down the right-hand side. I thought Sally Shipard was a bit quiet, made quite a few mistakes when delivering the ball. Structurally, we got a bit congested in the oppositions penalty box a few times, leaving noone on the edge to pick up any rebounds. Our wide players didn't receive enough ball, instead we chose to play the ball through the middle into traffic. Overall, a decent start to the tournament, but would that performance have beaten Korea or China?Douglashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00458045585490431568noreply@blogger.com
